RSVP to Rick Lawrence, District 7890 Chair - Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Projects (860) 558-2793 Cell, elawrlaw@sbcglobal.net On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, our District will hold the 18th Annual Check Presentation for what has been described as "District 7890's Signature International Project". On behalf of the Manchester Rotary Club, a representative(s) from your club is respectfully requested to attend, signifying your club's contribution to the most recent Global Grant for El Rosario, fully funded and currently under construction. This event will be held at the Manchester Country Club, 305 South Main Street, Manchester, CT from 6 - 8 PM. There will be a social with a cash bar beginning at 5:15 PM, with the Latin-Guatemalan-style buffet dinner scheduled to start promptly at 6:00 PM. Please RSVP so we can confirm the number of required meals. The cost is $42 (tax, service charge & gratuity included), payable at the door by cash or check made out to "Rotary Club of Manchester".

For this event, we will focus our efforts on the West Main Park, which has quite a bit of trash in the wooded area behind the playground. If we have any remaining time, we will move on to the surrounding neighborhood streets (including Brooklyn Street) and then swing by Saxony Dog Park. Rotary Club of Rockville - Source to Sea Cleanup

What is World Polio Day? World Polio Day, October 24th, is a time for Rotary members, public health advocates, and all who want a world free from polio to come together, recognize our progress in the fight to end polio and talk about the actions we need to take in order to end polio for good. When we eradicate polio worldwide, it will join smallpox as the second human disease ever eradicated. |

About the EventFREE ADMISSION! Join Cornerstone for a night of soup tasting from J. Rego's Gathering Place, Mitchell's Restaurant, Monet's Table, and our very own Cornerstone Community Kitchen. Also taking place will be a silent auction, teacup raffle, and the Cornerstone Visa Gift Card raffle. Raffle tickets available for purchase the night of Soupfest. Winning tickets will be drawn that night but winners need not be present. Cornerstone appreciates all the volunteers who step up every day for our community.
