The Cornerstone Foundation is a faith-based ministry with a mission to keep all people safe, fed, housed and clothed. The organization provides help to the community with a soup kitchen, two shelters, a food pantry, clothing bank, youth/outreach center and many vital annual initiatives.
The Village was one of the first agencies in the country to provide homes for neglected children. Today, they continue to achieve their mission “to build a community of strong, healthy families who protect and nurture children” by providing a full range of behavioral health, early childhood and youth development, substance use treatment and support services for children, adults and families in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut region.
 
 
 
Hockanum Valley Community Council, Inc. (HVCC) is a non-profit agency dedicated to meeting the needs of the residents of Hartford, Tolland, and Windham County areas.  Its vision is a future where we can reduce the number of Connecticut residents struggling with food insecurity, substance abuse, mental health issues, and basic human needs.
The YMCA of Greater Hartford is a charitable association open to all and committed to helping people develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind and body. This commitment is reinforced by our belief in living out universal values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  Located in Ellington, The Indian Valley YMCA serves East Windsor, Ellington, Enfield, Somers, South Windsor, Tolland, Vernon and the surrounding area.
